Honestly, Sanora didn’t start on purpose. It started with me selling used clothes from my mom’s stash. She kept a ridiculous amount of clothes from her, mine, and my sister’s closets—most of it in surprisingly good condition. So, I started selling them as a little side hustle.
But then, out of nowhere, I had this strange urge to pick up crochet and start making toys. Yep, toys. It surprised a lot of people, but for some reason, I was drawn to it. I bought a crochet kit and went to one of my dad’s aunts to teach me the basic stitches. My father comes from a family of crafters—his aunts are pros at crocheting chairbacks, clothing, and hats. But I wasn’t interested in making the usual stuff; I wanted to create plushies.
After spending an afternoon learning the basics, I went home and dove straight in. Within a week, I had made five items—not perfect, but surprisingly good for a beginner. That was July 2024. By October, I was selling my creations. I discovered a new passion, one that let me be creative and have fun. And it shows in everything I make!

Our Mission
We’re here to solve the “What do I get them?” gift problem. Sanora is about creating gifts that are personal, thoughtful, and totally one-of-a-kind.
We’re also redefining what handmade means. It’s not just about making something with your hands—it’s about making something with meaning. Every plushie is designed to bring joy, nostalgia, and maybe even a tear or two (happy ones, obviously).
What Makes Us Different
Handmade, Not Factory-Made
Every plushie is stitched by hand, with care and attention to detail. No machines, no shortcuts.
Custom Creations
You don’t just scroll through a catalog here. You tell us your idea, and we make it happen.
Rooted in Guyana
We’re proud to be part of the Caribbean creative space.
Thoughtful, Not Generic
Sanora isn’t about random stuffed toys—it’s about gifts that mean something.
